Support a group of 60 high school students with the opportunity to learn about the history and culture of Kansas City! The idea to experience a bilingual "Urban Hike" through KC was designed by their student group sponsor and the CEO of Urban Hikes KC.
Support a unique educational experience that gets 195 students excited about science, technology, engineering, and math. The trip includes STEM lessons/activities taught by a STEM educator focused on Newton's Laws of Motion.
Agricultural Experience
Around 75 students could be immersed in Farm-to-Plate and agricultural topics this school year by visiting the Agricultural Hall of Fame.
Mahaffie StageCoach Stop-Farm
Students will go back in time to experience history where it happened.
Strataca Salt Mine Tour
Ms. Gebhard and 20 of her 3rd grade students will experience this geological wonder of Kansas and apply their knowledge of history through an underground tour.
Museum of World Treasures
Mr. Dowson and his 40 Ancient World History students will explore the Museum to see first hand the ancient artifacts they are learning about in the classroom!
Heritage History Lab
These 4th grade students will go "back in time" and explore the daily lives of pioneers and Kansas History on a field trip to the Ernie Miller Nature Center.
Starbase
Students will experience hands-on learning led by the Kansas Department of Defense. This field trip supports a STEM curriculum and provides problem-solving confidence to attendees.
