Thank you for supporting Explore in making a positive impact on teachers and students across Kansas City!
Thank you so much for providing support for this field trip. Most of our students had not been on a field trip since before Covid, and they had a wonderful time!
Our students loved having the chance to experience what it was like long ago as a child! It really opened their eyes to how things have changed and how lucky they are to have the technology we have now. Students are now able to compare what life was like now and as a pioneer child long ago. Thank you!
Our grade level recently finished a PBL unit on animals and their habitats. Our students were able to see most of the animals we researched in their near-normal habitat. Many have never been to a zoo due to family economics. This was a very exciting day for us.
Indian Creek wants to thank you SO MUCH for providing this experience for our students. The kids said this was 'the best field trip ever!' So many of our students have never been downtown or had any experience like this one, they had so much fun and it truly would not have happened if not for you!
Heatherstone Elementary First Graders would like to thank the sponsor of our field trip to the Ag Hall of Fame! Our students had the best time, and they had opportunities to ride on a train around the farm, make butter, attend school in an old-fashioned schoolhouse, see antique tractors, explore a pollinator garden, dig in a vegetable garden and so much more. Some of our students have never been to a farm before, so this experience was a first for them. We appreciate your interest in putting value in providing educational opportunities for young learners...it was money well spent! Thanks so much!
Our field trip to the Kansas City Zoo was wonderful! Before our field trip, our students completed an animal research project with each student researching a different animal. Using a variety of materials, our students were able to learn facts from informational text about their animals. As a culminating activity, the students went to the zoo to see the animals we had learned about during our research!
