About the trip
There are 70 students from an elementary in the KC Public Schools who have not experienced a field trip in over 4 years. According to their school counselor, the past few years have been particularly tough on this population of 5th and 6th-grade students.
This year is off to a great start, and they want to provide an opportunity for these students to share an experience on the challenge course of Timber Ridge. This destination will offer the chance for students to use problem-solving and communication skills to promote camaraderie among peers. This experience will enhance their motivation to support each other during the typical challenges faced throughout the school year!
